Official Church of Scientology Video: Religious Mecca, Flag Land Base

Nowhere is the growth of the Scientology religion more in evidence than at Flag, its spiritual headquarters in Clearwater, Florida. Planned to ensure the most important Scientology religious retreat continues to meet the increasing need for its services, what began with a single property in 1975 now spans a complex of some 50 buildings over a nine-mile grid, totaling upwards of two million square feet.

The New Flag Building

In grand opening ceremonies attended by 10,273 Scientologists, the Church of Scientology dedicated its new international spiritual headquarters—the Flag Building—on November 17, 2013, in Clearwater, Florida. Mr. David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board Religious Technology Center and ecclesiastical leader of the Scientology religion, led the dedication.

The Church of Scientology Flag Building spans a city block on the Clearwater, Florida skyline. It is specifically dedicated to delivery of the full Bridge of Scientology religious services—including sixteen separate course room for the study of Scientology Scripture, and 250 counseling rooms to delivery one-on-one Scientology spiritual counseling known as auditing. The top floors of the new building are reserved for Super Power and Cause Resurgence, a series of never-before-available Scientology counseling services offered nowhere else.
